About Us

In 1998, Steven Goldman left a large law firm on Madison Avenue in New York City to found a specialized practice devoted to representing marine insurance clients in coverage disputes with policyholders. Michael Goldman joined his father upon graduating from law school in 2008, quickly establishing his bona fides by obtaining a ruling from the 11th Circuit reversing a summary judgment Order in an appeal from the district court in Miami. Jacquie Goldman joined the family business after graduating in 2017, quickly establishing herself as the firm’s principal attorney in Florida coverage matters and liability defense cases across the 6-state New England region. Jonathan Goldman is the family’s most recent acquisition, currently being schooled in such subjects as “utmost good faith,” the “fortuity rule,” and the other principles that are part of the law and practice of marine insurance.
